Downtown College Ministry
OUR VISION
Downtown College Minsitry meerly started as a vision. One of the Youth Pastors here at Huntsville First is attending the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and had a tug on his heart to start a college ministry. Well, here we are. We want to bring together students from around Huntsville, no matter what background or school, and see God move. We want to gather together in worship. We want to pray for each other and our community. We truly just want to be a community and generation that is on fire for Jesus.
We hope to meet on Sunday nights at 8:15 but that is something that is still in the planning process. Stay tuned!
OUR CHURCH
Huntsville First United Methodist Church is one that is rich in tradition. We are over 200 years old, and are one of the only downtown churches that is growing in this state. Most of that has to do with the kind of people that you meet here at Huntsville First. We are family oriented. We love everyone. Our doors are always open and we would love to see all of you walk in one day as well.
As far as the college ministry goes. We keep it simple. We are a group of young believers who are on fire for God. We have a passion for reaching the community, and are amped to see this ministry take off.
